Projects

So, as many of you know, I have been searching for a hobby. Something that can keep my creative juices flowing. Well, I recently found two awesome blogs that are loaded with fun ideas of things to make. So I have taken up sewing, much to my mom's surprise, and have made a few little things. The first thing is a really cute set of teething rings. M is going to love them. I can already tell.

The next project was just something fun to do. I made a cute little cover for the wipes case that I keep in the diaper bag. You can find that tutorial here.



I definitely have a lot to learn about how to make things actually look good, but for now, these will have to do. It's the journey that counts, right?

A whole new world!

We went on a walk the other day and this was M the whole time:
He was looking up at the trees and the sky and was soaking it all in. I don't think he looked down once. He was fascinated. Cute kid.

Another fun day at the beach!

He still hasn't caught on to the excitement of the beach. Oh well. We'll keep trying.

This is a couple weeks old, and I'm just finally getting around to posting it. It's another clip of Miles chillin' in his bassinet, making extremely cute, unsolicited sounds.

3 short months

So, we have the cutest little boy ever! These past three months have been so great! He has grown so much! And it's only going to get better!

We took our first trip with M. We went to Bakersfield, just over night, and it was great. M loved it. He slept really well and loved being loved by his grandma and grandpa. While we were there, we weighed him and figured he weighs somewhere between 15 and 16 pounds.

M is sitting up, with help of course, and is getting stronger and stronger each day. He loves looking around and being involved in what is going on. He has started laughing out loud which is probably the cutest thing ever.
