We love visitors!
This last weekend, Julie came to visit. She was stopping through on her way to Hawaii to study at BYU-H. We had a lot of fun while she was here! On Sunday, we made pupusas and had mango and cola champagne. Roger and I are gearing up for our trip to El Salvador in June! Although the pupusas there are going to be 10 billion times better than the ones we made. YUM!!
Update on our garden
As I posted earlier, we planted some seeds in our little patch of dirt. Then we left for a week to Arizona and we were pretty worried that nothing would happen because we couldn't water them. But we are happy to say that our flowers have sprouted and are starting to grow! Here are just a few pics.
Our bookcase!
About a week and a half ago, Roger and I decided to build a bookcase. We were REALLY excited. We designed it on some site Roger knew about and it looked awesome. We went to Lowe's and bought wood and all the paint and materials we needed. Over the next week, we sanded the wood, primed it, hooked it together, and then painted it. It is finally finished (thanks to Julie for her help!) and it looks AWESOME!!! We love it! Here are some pictures of our awesome bookcase.

Just 5 months later...
We finally got our wedding video! We have seen it before, but we just got a copy the last time I was in Utah. We thought you might enjoy watching it! We sure do!

Calling all girls camp alumni!
It's been a while. (Just kidding.) I was just called as the Camp Director of my ward. Yeah, you read that right. The camp director. I am trying to think of some fun things to do and I need your help! (if you have been to camp, of course.)
I want you to take a moment and pull all of those camp memories to the front of your minds. If any have been suppressed for any reason, lets leave those alone. But think of all the fun memories. If anything sticks out as your most fun camp memory, will you pass it along to me? Not all will apply because they are probably most memorable because of the people involved, as are most of mine (like the one to left of Jazzie and I), but I really just need any help I can get. Thanks so much!

catch up and food post
It's been a while. (I think I will start every post that way.) Roger and I are doing well. We are headed to Arizona this week to launch Lymabean! Things have been going really well with the bean and we are excited to see it grow.
We have been making some really good food lately. Here are some pictures of the yumminess.
This is a chow mein sort of dish. Obviously we have some issues deciding how much to make. We ate this for about a week straight.
For Easter, I made some AWESOME crepes. They had asparagus, ham and a white sauce. Roger was loving life. And then we had crepes with strawberries for dessert. It was probably our best Easter together.
We have decided that we need a project. We don't have much to do at night, so we decided to plant a garden! (We were inspired by Emily's posts lately to blog about this.) Not that a garden will keep us busy at night, but it is something to do. We have about a 2x8 foot long patch of dirt by our patio. It had some crazy mondo leaf plants growing in it. We ripped those out last week and bought some new soil and some seeds. I can't remember what the flowers are called that we bought, but as Roger says, "They are pretty." We took off about 4 inches of nasty dirt and put our new soil on. The seeds are in and we will keep you updated on their progress. Here are some pics of our dirt and us.
I did the digging and Roger carried the dirt and garbage out in a bucket. We work so well together!
To make sure we fit in to our predominately Latin complex, we were blasting Spanish music while we were working. That is one of the many Latin characteristics that I love.
