We're back!

We have had quite the week. Our manager had us move into the apartment next door to us. The apartment handy man had been living there....and it was foul. I don't even really want to describe what it looked like...or smelled like. Let's just say, it smelled like dead ____ fill in the blank. Just think of the grossest dead thing you can think of. Anyway, we told them we wouldn't live there until they had people come in a clean it. So they sent some people in and actually did a really good job. Although, it still stunk, we moved some of our stuff in and packed the rest in our bedroom. Luckily Nancy came and visited this weekend. She really helped us out. Sadly for her, she had to sleep in the stinky room. She is a trooper indeed. We lived through some kinda nasty circumstances for a few days and then they were finished with our place. They replaced most of the ceiling in the bathroom, the kitchen and hallway, and the living room. They replaced some of the electrical wiring and repainted. The place looks great. After a day at the beach (which was AWESOME), Nancy and I started moving some things in.
After Roger got home from doing a yo-yo show at the father and sons outing, he helped us finish the move. So we are now back in our own apartment. It is GREAT. It smells good and it is great to be back in our own place. Thank you one billion times over to Nancy for helping! We had a lot of fun having you here!
On a good note, our bookcase that we just finished a little over a week ago, got ruined and we will have to repaint it. So that means we get to keep working on it!
